About Alekhni Student Journal
Alekhni Student Journal is a pioneering initiative designed to give young people an early, meaningful entry into the world of academic publishing. At its heart, the journal is built on the belief that curious, rigorous thinking isn't bound by age, institution, or academic rank, and that student researchers deserve a genuine platform, not just a classroom exercise.
What We Publish
We publish interdisciplinary research in the humanities and social sciences, with a particular interest in health and wellbeing, inequality and systemic injustice, and how people cooperate, resist, and negotiate within society. Read our fullAims & Scope for more on what we're looking for.
Who Can Submit
Alekhni is open to school students of all ages, anywhere in the world. We deliberately don't restrict submissions by institution, grade level, or academic background. What matters to us is the quality and seriousness of the work.
How We Review
Every manuscript goes through a double-blind peer review process: reviewers don't know who wrote the piece, and authors don't know who reviewed it. Our reviewers are asked to give constructive, mentoring feedback rather than gatekeeping critique: the goal is to help authors strengthen their work, not just judge it.
Free, Open-Access, and Non-Profit
Alekhni's Journal is a non-profit academic initiative. There are no submission fees and no paywalls: publishing with us costs nothing, and reading our work costs nothing, ever.
Where We Are Right Now
